Deck Framing
The framing of the deck can be one of the most challenging stages of the project, and homeowners do not typically participate. The ledger attachment to the house is critical, as is the general workmanship of the framing. It is important that the lumber be properly selected and installed to ensure that the deck is level. Uneven decking would be highly visible on the long horizontal surfaces found in most decks.
